Taking part this year are talented young choirs from THREE Beckenham primary schools.
They have all rehearsed very hard, so please come along to Christmas on the Green this afternoon and give all three your full support:
13:00 – Worsley Bridge Primary School Choir
14:00 – Churchfield’s Primary School Choir
15:00 – Harris Primary Beckenham School Choir
At 3.30pm, after the final choir has sung, you will be able to vote for your favourite.
Just go to our Twitter account @CCARA_Beckenham and cast your vote!
The poll will remain open until 18:00 on Sunday and is just for fun.
We think all three choirs are absolutely amazing.
The choir with the most votes will win for their school the 6ft Christmas on the stage, kindly donated by Branching Out plus £50 to buy lights, a stand and decorations.
Hunt for Rudolph the Reindeer’s carrots that are hidden all over Beckenham Green tomorrow at ‘Christmas on the Green’!

Don’t miss US singer-songwriter Lilac Sheer performing songs from her recent album A Different Country at Market On The Green on Beckenham Green (next to St George’s Church on Saturday 23rd September at 1.3opm and 2.30pm.
A Different Country
The album A Different Country was released in August of 2016.
The single Queen of Hollywood ranked #1 most added on US FMQB A/C chart it’s release week and charted at #9.
Stylistically compared to the likes of Alanis Morissette and Jewel, Americana singer-songwriter Lilac Sheer sings of her experiences of the world through the eyes of a girl who grew up in a religious home, served in the army, lived on different continents and wrote music intensively throughout, all of which culminate in A Different Country, an album of unique artistry and depth, that is bound to play on heartstrings you never knew you had.
Two pieces of good news from our Copers Cope police team. First, a big welcome to our new District Ward Officer, Jade Bowyer. Second, she will be joining DWO Stuart Inglis at the Market on the Green on 23 September to meet the community and distribute tamper-proof car licence plate nuts. Stuart and Jade will be around the Green from midday.
Tamper-proof car licence nuts are well worth fitting as they prevent the nuisance of theft of your licence plates and stop wider knock-on crimes like driving off of garage forecourts without paying for fuel. Pick up a set, free while stocks last, after midday from the police team on the Copers Cope Area Residents’ Association (CCARA) gazebo.
